Rest, reset, go.

Here I am, groggy and a little cranky. I’m listening to the sweet sweet sounds of the tamale lady roaming the street screaming, “tamalleeeeee” “mole rojo tamalleeeeee”. If I had proper clothes on, cash, and willpower to get up, I’d go down and buy some. But I don’t, so I wont.

I failed to blog over the last two days…I don’t have one single excuse, but let’s just say life happened. I’m not disappointed though!

It’s passion week, so on Thursday evening, Matthew and I went to church for the worship and prayer service. Afterwards we hung around with our cell group and caught up on their lives and shared a few laughs. By the time we got home I was beat! I thought about blogging, but it would have been forced and really uninteresting, so I saved you all from that.

Friday (yesterday) Matthew and I didn’t get home from work until late and we were both very tired and grouchy. I spent 40 minutes driving around the neighborhood looking for parking and by the time I got home I didn’t want to write or talk to anyone.  Waahhh. I sound so whiny!!!

But today is a new day! I finished reading the book, The Sun Also Rises By Ernest Hemingway. I realize that a lot of people might have already read that in college or high-school, but I’m not like most people and I just got around to reading it! I found out that I really like Ernest Hemingway’s writing style and I look forward to reading more of his books in the near future.

By the way, what a fitting title for Easter. Get it, because the Son also rose from the dead? I’ll stop now.
